My name is Nolla Moskvych, and I am a UC Berkeley student who loves exploring connections between food, culture, and community. I was born in Ukraine, and some of my favorite childhood memories come from helping in my grandmothers’ gardens and cooking with my family. Those experiences sparked my fascination with the stories, traditions, and cultural narratives that surround food. Food is much more than something we eat, it is a way for people to connect, share their histories, and build community. I’m excited to be a part of a team that is dedicated to the important work of advancing food sovereignty and equity.
