Stephanie Hudson
Since December 2023, Stephanie Hudson has served as Food First’s Financial Consultant leading all of the organization’s financial, human resource, and operational functions. Stephanie is an accomplished administrative and operational professional with an extensive and diverse background in international development organizations and in non-profit/for-profit/university settings. Proven capabilities include organizing, planning, and harmonizing priorities across multiple functional business units. Detail-oriented contributing to
exceptional analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a focus on project execution and operational excellence.
Stephanie spent fifteen years working in a variety of financial and human resource operations positions with CARE USA. After CARE, Stephanie served as a financial and operations consultant for Welcoming America, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that works to aid immigrants in integrating into communities throughout the US. Since 2017, Stephanie has served as the principal of Smith~Hudson Solutions, LLC, which is a “Solo-prenuer” / Freelance consultancy firm providing administration/operations services including accounting/bookkeeping and financial management, HR administration, and information management to small, mid-size businesses and nonprofits. Stephanie has an Accounting and Business Management Degree from Wright State University and also pursued education in Leadership and Ethics from Kennesaw State University.
